Crimson Viking Games

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains what information Crimson Viking Games ("we", "us") and our games collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. It covers our games (Hillbilly Racing and Stygian Dungeon: Crypts of Chaos) and this website.

The short version: we don't collect your personal information. Our games keep your settings and progress on your own PC. When you play online, the store you bought the game from (Steam or the Epic Games Store) handles your account, and other players in your game see your player name. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking, and we never sell data.

Who we are

Crimson Viking Games is an independent game studio. For anything about this policy or your information, email crimsonvikinggames@gmail.com.

Information stored on your PC

Our games save these things on your own computer so they're there next time you play. They aren't sent to us.

To remove it, uninstall the game and delete its folder in %APPDATA% (for example %APPDATA%\Hillbilly Racing).

Playing online

Some of our games, including Hillbilly Racing, let you play with other people.

We don't receive or keep copies of your account details, friends lists or connection information from Steam or Epic, beyond what the game needs while you're playing.

Buying our games

Purchases are handled by the store you buy from (Steam or the Epic Games Store). We don't see or store your payment details. The store may share sales reports with us, which don't identify you personally.

What we don't do

This website

This website is a set of plain pages with no cookies, forms, analytics or tracking. Like any website, the hosting provider may briefly record technical details such as your IP address in its server logs to keep the site secure and running. If you email us, we use your email address only to reply to you, and delete the conversation when it's no longer needed.

Children

We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or Californian law), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. As we don't collect personal information, we usually won't hold any, but you can always ask us at crimsonvikinggames@gmail.com. For information held by Steam or Epic Games, contact them through their own privacy pages above.

Changes to this policy

If our games start handling information differently, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
